Restoring Deleted Recipes
Computers are tricky. You can spend an hour putting a document together and with a click of a button you delete it and can't get it back. We've all been there and it's not a good feeling. That's why we do things like automatically saving your recipes each time you add or change an ingredient on ReciPal.
Undoing Permanent Changes
Not too long ago we were on the phone with a customer who accidentally deleted her recipe and we realized it was going to be quite a pain (if not impossible) to get it back. But we can avoid these types of issues. Most good software gives you the option to undo irreversible changes, and our goal is to make good nutrition label software for you.
So, now when you try to delete a recipe, we'll first ask you to confirm that's what you want to do. If you do (even mistakenly) agree to delete it, we'll mark it for deletion. It won't show up in your recipes list anymore, but you'll have the ability to restore the recipe if you really need it. There will be a quick "undo" link if you realize you made a mistake right away. If you don't realize right away, just let us know and we can help you get it back.
Here's to never accidentally deleting a recipe!
